  • Seasoning: combine turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic powder, kosher salt and ground black pepper.
  • Olive Oil: use any light, neutral-flavored oil.
  • Cheese: freshly grated parmesan cheese has a nutty flavor. 
  • Cilantro: chopped to garnish.
  • Lemon Wedges: to serve.

How To Make Air Fryer Cauliflower Bites

  • Prepare the equipment. Preheat the Air Fryer to 380 degrees F.
  • Mix the spices. In a small bowl/plate, combine turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.

  • Season the cauliflower. Sprinkle the spices over the cauliflower florets and pour the olive oil. Toss them to coat well. Add the parmesan cheese and toss it again until evenly coated.
Cauliflower is ready to be roasted in air fryer.
  • Air fry the cauliflower. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry them for 10-12 minutes until the cauliflower turns golden brown.

Trim off the long stem and then cut the cauliflower in half. Use a sharp knife to cut out the core. The florets will now separate easily with your hands, or use the tip of a knife to pry them apart. 

Can I use frozen cauliflower?

Fresh cauliflower will yield a much more desirable texture, but you can use frozen cauliflower. Thaw and drain any excess moisture and pat dry with paper towels. Frozen cauliflower will have a mushier texture than fresh cauliflower.

Store leftover cauliflower in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. Reheat for a few minutes in the air fryer. You can reheat in the microwave, but this will result in a mushy texture. 

Can I freeze air fryer cauliflower bites?

I do not recommend freezing this cauliflower dish because it will get mushy afterwards.

These cauliflower bites can be served as an appetizer or next to a main dish like Chicken, Steaks, Salmon or Shrimp.
