  • Seasonings: A delicious combination of Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, dried thyme, and salt pack a punch on the turkey.
  • Garnish: You can use fresh herbs, pomegranate pearls, and lemon wedges to add some color and flavor before serving. 

How To Make Boneless Turkey Breast

Step 1: Prepare the butter mixture. In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme to create a spice paste.

Step 2: Prepare the turkey. Pat the turkey breast dry with a towel. Gently loosen the skin and spread the spice mixture under the skin. Rub the remaining butter mixture over the entire turkey breast.

Step 3: Bake the turkey. Place the turkey on the baking sheet and roast for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Step 4: Rest and garnish. Remove the turkey from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs and pomegranate pearls, and serve with lemon wedges.

Cajun Boneless Turkey Breast

Seasoned with Cajun spices and roasted to juicy perfection, this Cajun Boneless Turkey breast is easy to prepare and full of flavor. It’s a great twist on a traditional roasted turkey.

Ingredients 

  • 3 pound boneless turkey breast, with skin
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasonings
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Fresh herbs, to garnish
  • Pomegranate pearls, to garnish
  • Lemon wedges, to serve

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or grease it with oil and set aside.
  • Pat the turkey breast dry with a kitchen towel.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, black pepper, and thyme to form a paste.
  • Spread the spice mixture under the turkey skin, then rub the remaining mixture evenly over the entire turkey breast.
  • Place the turkey on the prepared baking sheet and roast for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs and pomegranate seeds.
  • Slice and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Storing: Place leftover turkey in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
To Reheat: Place slices in a covered dish and warm in a 350 degree F oven for 10-15 minutes until heated through. Or reheat in the microwave in 30-second intervals until warm.
Freezing: Freeze any leftover turkey in an airtight freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.

You can cook the turkey breast up to 2 days in advance. Store it whole in the fridge and slice after reheating. To crisp the skin again, place the turkey under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
