  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper

Notes

  • Use soft, sturdy buns: Hawaiian rolls are perfect—they hold up well and add a touch of sweetness.
  • Cover while baking: Use foil for the first half of baking to keep sliders soft, then uncover to crisp the tops.
  • Serve warm: These are best fresh out of the oven, but they reheat well too!

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of cheese works best?

Pepper jack adds a nice kick, but you can swap it for Swiss, cheddar, or mozzarella depending on your taste.

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes! Assemble the sliders, cover, and refrigerate. Bake when ready to serve. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time.

How do I keep the sliders from getting soggy?

Toast the bottom buns lightly before assembling, and don’t overload with sauce. Baking uncovered for the last few minutes helps crisp the tops.

Can I freeze turkey sliders?

You can freeze them after baking. Let them cool, wrap tightly, and reheat in the oven when ready to enjoy.
