  • Cut Evenly: Make sure to cut the potatoes into even-sized cubes to avoid uneven cooking.
  • Don’t Overcrowd the Basket: Cook the potatoes in a single layer to allow hot air to circulate around them, ensuring they get crispy.

Storage and Reheating

Storing: Refrigerate leftover air fryer potatoes in airtight containers for 3 to 5 days.

Reheating: To reheat these potatoes, you can throw them in the air fryer at any time and reheat for a few minutes. You can also reheat them in the microwave for a minute or so depending on the amount.

Freezing: You can freeze these potatoes on a sheet pan first, then transfer them to a freezer bag. When ready to cook, thaw them completely and then reheat in the air fryer when ready to serve on 400 F for at least 5 minutes or until heated through.

What to Serve with Air Fryer Diced Potatoes

You can serve almost anything with air fried potatoes. Here are some of my favorite recipes to serve this recipe with.

Common Recipe FAQ’s

Do I need to peel the potatoes?

That’s up to you! As long as you give your potatoes a good scrub, you can skip peeling your potatoes before air frying them. Just be sure to make sure the potatoes are dried before cooking them as it could cause them to steam in the air fryer if they have water on them.

Which potatoes are best for air frying?

I recommend using russet potatoes, Yukon gold, red potatoes or any kind of baby potatoes.

Why are my air fryer potatoes not crispy?

You may have left some moisture on the potatoes before air frying. Be sure to dry the potatoes really well before adding oil and seasoning. Also, potatoes differ from one another.

Can I make these air fryer roasted potatoes ahead of time?

While they are best served fresh out of the air fryer, you can keep them warm in a low oven or briefly reheat them in the air fryer before serving. Another recommendation is, you can par-boil the potatoes ahead of time for 5 minutes and when it’s time to cook them, season and air fry. This will cut back at least 10 minutes of the cook time.

This recipe turned out amazing ๐Ÿ˜‹ I decided to add a lil smoked paprika to it as well instead of all regular paprika.I also used golden potatoes instead of russets and used avocado oil instead of extra virgin Olive oil. I also ground up the seasonings all together before sprinkling on oiled up potatoes. โค๏ธ
