FAQ’s
How to cut Sweet Potato Fries
One of the tricks to getting super crispy sweet potato fries is to cut them as thinly. Use a sharp knife and cutting board, cut the fries into roughly 1/4 inch slices. Cut the sweet potato vertical slices then place them flat side down and cut into fries.
It’s fine if the fries are a bit uneven, the shape of all sweet potatoes are different, but the more consistent you cut the fries, the more evenly they’ll cook.
Should I soak the fries before cooking them?
Soaking regular white potatoes helps remove starch and makes them more crispy BUT soaking sweet potatoes doesn’t seem to make much difference, so just a quick rinse needed.

I am new to using an air fryer and was looking for a recipe for sweet potato fries. I used the Murasaki sweet potatoes and seasoned them with garlic powder, garlic herb seasoning, and crazy salt. They were delicious!
