Ingredients Needed

Ingredients needed for sweet potato wedges.
  • Sweet potatoes: The 5 main varieties in America are Garnet, Hannah, Japanese, Jewel and Purple Stoke. Use your favorite!
  • Spices: Garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper make an excellent savory seasoning. Cinnamon and sugar would work for a sweet twist as well.

  • Soak potatoes if you have time: Soaking the potatoes removes excess starch, leading to crispier wedges.
  • Avoid overcrowding: Cook in batches if needed to allow proper air circulation.

Storing: Allow air-fried sweet potatoes to cool completely and then store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.

To reheat: Use the air fryer to reheat the sweet potatoes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes or until crispy and heated through. Alternatively, reheat in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until crispy and heated through.

Reheat for about 15-20 minutes in the oven or 10-15 minutes in the air fryer, flipping halfway through. Check for crispiness and doneness.
