Frequently Asked Questions

Why are my potatoes hard?

The cooking time for this recipe should be sufficient for cooking small to medium-sized potatoes. For best results, cut larger potatoes in half or into quarters if needed and score the potatoes for more even cooking. Cooking times can also be affected by the type of potato you use. Adjust cooking times as necessary.

Can I make these garlic parmesan roasted potatoes in the air fryer?

Yes. To make these in an air fryer, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Place the potatoes in a single layer and cook for 12-15 minutes. Check for doneness and serve when fork tender.

Can I make this with other types of potatoes?

This recipe will work with red potatoes, Yukon gold, fingerling and sweet potatoes. Depending on the type and size of the potato, you may need to adjust the cooking time to reach the desired level of doneness.

How do I store and reheat crispy potatoes?

Store leftover potatoes in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or in an air fryer until crispy and warm.

Can I freeze TikTok Potatoes?

Freezing these potatoes is not recommended, as they will become mushy when defrosted and reheated.
