If you love fresh summer salads, you will love this Avocado Mango Salad. It’s one of the most simplest salads you will ever make and it’s perfect to pair with grilled recipes.
HOW TO MAKE THE AVOCADO MANGO SALAD:
Gather all the ingredients needed. Peel and cube the avocadoes, slice the tomatoes into halves, peel and cube the mangoes. You will also need some minced garlic and finely chopped cilantro. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and add in the juice of one lemon, salt and olive oil.
Toss to mix everything together lightly without crushing the avocadoes. I recommend using firm but ripe avocadoes for the recipe as well as cherry or grape tomatoes. These tomatoes give the salad such a very flavorful taste. Also I only use sweet mangoes for this recipe. You need to buy some sweet and ripe mangoes.
PAIRING AND STORING THE AVOCADO MANGO SALAD:
My kids LOVE this Avocado Mango Salad. It is very kid friendly and goes with almost everything. We serve it with grilled foods or even non-grilled foods. I serve it all the time during our BBQ gatherings. I recommend grilled chicken, grilled salmon, grilled shrimps or even grilled steaks to serve along with the recipe. It also pairs well with other sides you may serve with your proteins such as white rice or fries.
This recipe is best served fresh because the avocadoes do change color over a short period of time. You can prepare all the ingredients ahead if you like without the avocados, and then add in the avocados right before you serve. You can store any left overs in an air tight container in the fridge.

Avocado Mango Salad
- 2 mangoes peeled and cubed
- 4 avocadoes peeled and cubed
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. cilantro chopped

- 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
- Dice the onions and mince the garlic.
