Ingredients You’ll Need

- Green beans: For this recipe, use fresh green beans with the ends trimmed.
- Olive oil: Tossing the beans in olive oil helps the seasoning stick and helps them brown and crisp up.
- Garlic: Sliced garlic gets roasted with the green beans for a great taste.
- Seasonings: This recipe goes simple with just salt and pepper.
- Cheeses: You’ll use a combo of grated parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
Ingredient Substitutions
Veggies: Replace the green beans with trimmed asparagus or broccoli florets for variety.
Cheeses: Swap Parmesan with grated Pecorino or Asiago.
Seasoning: Add Italian seasoning or lemon zest with the salt and pepper for a twist.
How To Make Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Recipe Tips
- Use Fresh Green Beans – They hold up better in cooking and have the best texture.
- Don’t Overcook – Green beans should be bright green and slightly crisp.
- Grate Parmesan Fresh – It melts better and enhances flavor.
- Don’t overcrowd the tray to give the green beans space to get crispy.
What to Serve with Garlic Parmesan Green Beans
Serve these cheesy garlic green beans alongside Meditteranean Roasted Chicken, Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta, or Lemon Pepper Salmon for a balanced and flavorful meal.
Storing and Reheating
Storing: Store leftover green beans in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To reheat: To reheat, reheat in a 350 degree F oven for 5-7 minutes until warmed through. Or use a microwave for about 1 minute to get the cheese melty and warm.
Freezing: I do not reccomend freezing this recipe.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, but make sure to thaw them and pat them dry before baking to avoid excess moisture, which will steam the green beans instead of roasting them. But I prefer fresh beans.
To save time, prep the green beans and cheese mixture in advance and store it in the fridge. Assemble and bake just before you plan on serving.
Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F and cook the seasoned beans for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through. Top with cheese for the last 5 minutes.
