FAQ’s

What to serve with Creamy Broccoli Chicken

This easy chicken recipe plays well with all kinds of sides. You could go with mash potatoes, noodles, rice, couscous, veggies and more! Here’s some ideas:

What’s the best cut of chicken to use?

For this recipe I used chicken tenders but you could also go for skinless boneless chicken breasts or thighs. If using breast or thigh, it’s best to beat them down to thin them out a bit.

How do I know when my chicken is cooked through?

The best way to know when your chicken is done is to use a meat thermometer. Simply insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken, when it reads 165F it’s done.

It’s very delicious but the sauce was very soupy. Maybe I did something wrong. Next time I’ll use a rue to thicken it up.

Really good base. Added red and yellow peppers for more color and flavor. Also made a little extra sauce and added al dente pasta to make a fancy mac & cheese.
