FAQ’s
How to hollow out a loaf
Use a standard sized wheel of brie to score the bread then, using a spoon, dig out a hole in the bread. The hole shouldn’t go all the way through, just as deep as the brie wheel is fine. Be sure to lightly brush outside and inside the bread bowl before baking.
What to do with leftover bread
Don’t throw out the leftover bread from the center of the bowl! You can toast the bread and serve them on the side or keep them as homemade rustic croutons for soups.

This dish is best served straight away, that way you get all the melty, oo-ey goo-ey cheese! If you need to keep this bread bowl warm before serving, you can wrap in foil. It’ll stay warm for 30 mins to an hour.
You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Just pop in the microwave quickly or gently reheat in the oven for a few mins.
