FAQ’s

How to store this Nutella Banana Nut Bread

Store the banana bread in an airtight container for, either, 3 days on the kitchen counter or 5 days in the fridge.

Can I freeze this Banana Bread?

This also makes a wonderful make-ahead recipe, too. Cool it completely, then wrap the entire loaf in plastic wrap, then foil. Store in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Thaw overnight on the kitchen counter. Slice and enjoy for a sweet breakfast or afternoon treat!

How ripe should bananas be for banana bread?

Don’t feel bad that your extra bananas are all spotty and no one wants to eat them anymore because that’s the perfect banana for this recipe. You will need 4 of them for this recipe.

The best bananas for banana bread aren’t yellow, they are almost black. At the very least they are streaked with black/brown, with just a tiny hint of green at the stem. And again, the darker the better. There is no such thing as a too-ripe banana when you’re making banana bread!
