Ingredients

  • 20 oz fresh/frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup regular bread crumbs
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Chopped fresh parsley to garnish
  • Marinara sauce to serve

Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook according to the package instructions for 2 minutes. Drain the water and set the ravioli aside. Use a paper towel to remove any moisture from the cooked ravioli.
  • In a medium bowl, combine eggs and water, then whisk with a fork for a minute. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs, regular breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Ensure they are well combined and set aside.
  • Dip each cooked ravioli into the egg mixture first, then coat evenly with the panko mixture. Repeat this step with the remaining ravioli.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F for 5 minutes. Once heated, place the breaded ravioli in the air fryer basket without overcrowding it. Spray the top of the ravioli with cooking spray.
  • Air fry the ravioli for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the outside.
  • Once done, garnish the ravioli with chopped fresh parsley. Serve the crispy ravioli with marinara sauce on the side. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Pre-heat air fryer: Give your air fryer time to preheat.
  • Use Fresh or Thawed Ravioli: Frozen ravioli can be used but should be thawed slightly to prevent sogginess.
  • Non-stick spray: To prevent sticking, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray before placing the ravioli inside.
  • Do not over-crowd: Cook in batches, if necessary.
  • Turn over: Flip the ravioli halfway through the cooking time.
  • Serve Immediately: Air fryer ravioli is best enjoyed fresh and crispy.
