Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, but subtract 1 minute from the recommended cooking time. Once cooked, drain the water and set aside. (Remember to reserve ½ cup of pasta water for later use.)
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, sprinkle in the flour and cook for about a minute.
Slowly whisk in the milk and continue cooking until the sauce is smooth, without any lumps, and begins to thicken.
Gradually add the grated cheeses one by one, stirring continuously until melted and the sauce is creamy. Then, add the garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for a couple of minutes until everything is well combined.
Add the cooked pasta to the cheesy sauce and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
Serve the creamy and cheesy pasta while it's still warm, and enjoy!
