Chicken Avocado Wrap
This flavorful grilled chicken avocado sandwich is made with ingredients you have on hand and can be prepped in advance for a quick on-the-go lunch option. Simply combine grilled chicken, sliced avocado, cheese and flavorful garlic aioli in a tortilla for the tastiest healthy chicken wrap.

- 2 whole chicken breasts sliced horizontally into halves
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup fontina cheese or white cheddar cheese shredded
- ¼ cup garlic aioli
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- 2 whole avocados sliced
- Lemon wedges to serve
Pat dry the chicken halves with a kitchen towel and season them with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat a grill pan or skillet with oil on medium heat. Once the oil is heated, add the chicken breast and cook for 4-5minutes and flip it on the other side to cook further until the chicken is cooked through.
Once done, cut the chicken into strips and set it aside.
Add about 2 tablespoons of cheese to the center of a tortilla to assemble the wrap.
Add the chicken pieces, drizzle a tablespoon of garlic aioli and chopped cilantro, and top it with 3-4 slices of avocado. Seal the tortilla like a burrito.
Place the wrap in a grill pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, slice the wrap into halves and serve warm.
- Burrito-sized tortillas are ideal, but you can use smaller tortillas for smaller sandwiches shaped more like a taco.
- I prefer to slice the avocado, but you can cut it into chunks or mash it if desired.
- Grill chicken as directed for this recipe, or use leftover or rotisserie chicken to make this recipe even more effortless.
- Grill the wraps before serving to make them warm and crispy and give them extra flavor.
- Customize your chicken avocado wrap with lettuce, tomato, sliced hardboiled eggs, bacon or your favorite ingredients.
- Serve with salsa and sour cream if desired.
