TikTok spaghetti alfredo is a tasty and simple baked pasta dish made with spaghetti noodles, meat sauce and cheesy alfredo sauce. This baked alfredo pasta has the best of both worlds when it comes to the sauce, resulting in a rich and creamy flavor and texture. It's sometimes called "million dollar spaghetti" because it tastes so good. It's like a million bucks!

Ingredients

For spaghetti

  • 1 lb dried spaghetti
  • Water to cook spaghetti

For Alfredo Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasonings
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper

For meat sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain the water and set it aside to use later.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and add butter. Once the butter is melted, sprinkle the flour and cook for a minute.
  • Slowly pour the chicken stock and heavy cream. Cook until the sauce begins to thicken for 4-5 minutes.
  • Season the sauce with Italian seasonings, red chili flakes, salt, and ground pepper.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until everything comes together.
  • Transfer them to the prepared baking dish and set them aside.
  • To the same skillet, add a tablespoon of oil, followed by garlic and onion. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
  • Add the ground chicken, break it up, and cook for 3-5 minutes until the chicken releases moisture.
  • Season with salt and pepper and stir in the spaghetti sauce. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add the meat sauce on top of the pasta to the baking dish. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce.
  • Bake them for 22-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Garnish the Spaghetti Alfredo with parsley and serve while it's still warm.

Notes

  • Cook the noodles to al dente as they continue to cook while the pasta bakes.
  • Season the alfredo and meat sauce and adjust the seasoning as necessary.
  • Add more flavor by adding veggies and fresh herbs.
  • Use freshly grated cheese, as it will melt better than pre-shredded varieties.
  • Instead of spaghetti, use linguine or fettuccini noodles.
  • Reserve some of the pasta water and use it to thin the noodles if needed.
