Wash, peel and slice the sweet potatoes. Arrange them in a casserole dish.
Melt the butter. Mix in the orange juice and maple syrup. Pour the mixture evenly over the sweet potatoes.

In a medium bowl combine brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and pecans.
