Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice cooked
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 8 oz salmon cut into fingers without skin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 5 oz Imitation crab chopped or shredded
  • 1 medium avocados sliced
  • ½ medium English cucumber cut into strips
  • 4 nori sheets
  • 2 tablespoons Furikake seasonings
  • Chopped green onions garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions and transfer it to a bowl. Add rice vinegar and sugar, mix well, and set it aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice, mixing well. Add half of the spicy mayo to the imitation crab and toss; set aside.
  • Heat a medium skillet with oil, add the salmon, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then transfer it to a plate.
  • On a sushi mat, place cling wrap and a nori sheet. Wet your hands with water and place the cooked sushi rice evenly above the nori sheet. Sprinkle furikake seasonings over it and flip it to the nori sheet side.
  • Arrange cucumber strips, salmon fingers, imitation crab mixture, and avocado slices on the bottom above the nori sheet. Tightly roll the sushi, forming a log.
  • Slice into small rolls about an inch thick. Serve the sushi roll with spicy mayo on the side and garnish with green onions

Notes

  • Use High-Quality Ingredients: Fresh, high-quality salmon and ripe avocado are key to achieving the best flavor and texture.
  • Keep Hands Moistened: Moisten your hands with water when working with sushi rice to prevent sticking.
  • Slice with a Sharp Knife: Use a sharp, wet knife to slice the sushi rolls cleanly and evenly.
  • Experiment with Fillings: Feel free to experiment with different fillings and sauces to create your own unique sushi rolls.
