Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. fine rosemary dry
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. salt or more to taste
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 whole lemon juiced
  • zest of half lemon zest the lemon before squeezing it

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 380 F.
  • Trim and clean the chicken breast from any excess fats and pat dry. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Add in the remainder of the ingredients to marinate the chicken. If you have time to let it marinade, feel free to do so but it's not required.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer and spray with some oil. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway though and rush with leftover marinade from the bowl.
  • NOTE: The cooking time will vary based on the size of the chicken breast. It may need more time if the breast you are making are larger in size or less time even if they are smaller in size. Use an instant thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. It should be at 165 F
  • Remove from the air fryer and set on a plate. Cover with foil wrap and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving. Sever with your favorite side dish.

  • Do not skip resting the chicken. When the chicken sets for 5 minutes, it allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken breasts. If you cut into it too early, all the juices will flow out!
  • For easy clean up, we line the air fryer with a piece of parchment. If you are using a dishwasher and don’t mind the marinade dripping through, you can air fryer this without parchment.
  • You can marinate chicken in a ziploc bag and leave it in the fridge overnight.
