Ingredients

  • 3 medium russet potatoes washed very well, cut into 1" cubes
  • 3 tbsps. olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tsp. Tuscan garlic seasoning I used McCormick brand, use your favorite
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. black pepper fresh cracked
  • ½ tsp. salt or more to taste
  • ½ tsp. crushed rosemary dry or fresh is you prefer

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 F
  • Wash the potatoes very well and cube them into 1 inch cubes. Rinse with cold water and drain. Pat them dry well with a kitchen towel to remove any moisture and transfer them to a bowl.
  • Add the oil, spices and mix to coat well.
  • Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer without over crowding. You want to give them enough space and cook two batches if need. This may depend on the size of your air fryer. So use your judgment.
  • Bake the potatoes in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, until crispy and tender. Shake the basket half way through.
  • Transfer the potatoes to a dish and serve.

Notes

  • If using a parchment paper in your air fryer basket, only place it in after you preheat the air fryer. This prevents the parchment paper from burning.
  • Be sure to cut potatoes into even sizes, preferably 1-inch pieces to ensure even cooking. The larger the potatoes, the more time they would need. If you’d like larger potatoes, increase the cooking time and check for doneness by poking a toothpick through the potato. It should go in easily if cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary stems to present it better if you have guests over.
  • If working with a smaller air fryer and have to do several batches, preheat your oven and then turn it off. Place the finished batches of potatoes in the warm oven while you cook the other batch to keep them warm.
  • Be sure to avoid overcrowding your potatoes. When overcrowded, your potatoes will end up steaming instead of roasting in the air fryer.
  • Allow the air fryer to preheat before adding potatoes to cook. This helps make your air fryer potatoes extra crispy.
  • Shake the basket of potatoes halfway through for an even cooking.
  •
  • Turn the potatoes halfway through cooking or shake the basket, for an even crispiness.
