Ingredients

For Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken wings drumwings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

For Garlic Butter

  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 2 garlic cloves grated
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, add the chicken wings and pat dry them with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, combine the spices; parsley, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper and salt. Set aside.
  • Add olive oil and massage the chicken wings. Sprinkle the spice mix over the chicken until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the chicken wings in the air fryer basket coated with cooking spray.
  • Air fry the chicken in a preheated air fryer set to 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes by flipping them halfway through until the chicken is cooked perfectly.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the garlic butter by combining the melted butter, grated garlic and parsley in a small bowl.
  • Once the chicken wings are out, coat the wings with garlic butter evenly and serve.

Notes

  • Preheat the air fryer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Pat the wings dry before coating in oil and seasoning.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil before adding the wings. It will make cleanup a breeze.
  • Don’t crowd the basket. Leave space between the wings and cook in batches if necessary.
  • Stand the drumettes up along the edge of the basket, and this will allow you to fit a few extra wings into the fryer basket.
  • Check for doneness with a meat thermometer. Always cook chicken to a minimum temperature of 165 degrees F.
