Air Fryer Garlic Chicken Wings are the perfect party food for game day or your next gathering. Garlic wings are air fried until they are golden and unbelievably crispy, then tossed with flavorful homemade garlic butter sauce. Serve with piping hot french fries for a finger-licking meal. Make sure you have plenty of napkins to wipe up the incredible garlic sauce for chicken wings.
In a medium bowl, add the chicken wings and pat dry them with a paper towel.
In a small bowl, combine the spices; parsley, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper and salt. Set aside.
Add olive oil and massage the chicken wings. Sprinkle the spice mix over the chicken until evenly coated.
Arrange the chicken wings in the air fryer basket coated with cooking spray.
Air fry the chicken in a preheated air fryer set to 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes by flipping them halfway through until the chicken is cooked perfectly.
Meanwhile, prepare the garlic butter by combining the melted butter, grated garlic and parsley in a small bowl.
Once the chicken wings are out, coat the wings with garlic butter evenly and serve.
Notes
Preheat the air fryer for 3-4 minutes.
Pat the wings dry before coating in oil and seasoning.
Spray the air fryer basket with oil before adding the wings. It will make cleanup a breeze.
Don’t crowd the basket. Leave space between the wings and cook in batches if necessary.
Stand the drumettes up along the edge of the basket, and this will allow you to fit a few extra wings into the fryer basket.
Check for doneness with a meat thermometer. Always cook chicken to a minimum temperature of 165 degrees F.
