Thick, rich, and creamy, these No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars are so easy to make! This is the perfect treat to make if your oven is in use or if you don’t want to heat up the kitchen with the oven.

Ingredients

For peanut butter base:

  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups oats finely ground in a food processor or blender

For chocolate topping:

  • 1 ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

For peanut butter base:

  • Spray an 8x8 pan with non-stick spray and line with parchment paper or foil. Set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan heat the peanut butter and maple syrup over medium heat, stirring constantly until fully combined and smooth.
  • Add the ground oats and stir until fully combined. The mixture will be thick.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Set aside.

For chocolate topping:

  • In a small saucepan heat the chocolate and peanut butter over low heat until fully melted and combined.
  • Spread the melted chocolate mixture over the oat mixture and spread evenly.
  • Place the bars in the fridge until fully set, about 1 hour.
  • Cut into 16 equal-sized bars.

Notes

  • Be sure to line your pan as it’s much easier to remove the bars once ready. Simply lift out the entire parchment paper.
  • Since it takes time for the chocolate peanut butter bars to set in the fridge, I suggest you plan to make these ahead of time.
  • If you don’t have maple syrup, honey or agave would work in this recipe as well.
