Peel and slice the Pears. Set aside.
Whip up the sugar and butter. Add in the vanilla, lemon zest and eggs. Mix well.
Add in the dry ingredients. Add milk and oil while mixing on low speed.
Place the batter in the pan. Spread sliced pears. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar. Bake for 1 hour.
Remove the cake from the oven and cool down. Dust with some confectioner sugar right before serving.
